Ingredients (8 people):
500G flour
30G baker’s yeast
2 eggs
100G melted butter
60g caster sugar
20Cl of milk
Salt
1C. tablespoon orange blossom water
Preparation:
1/ Dissolve the yeast in the milk 15 minutes before pouring the ingredients into the mixer.
2/ Pour all the ingredients in the order recommended by the manufacturer into the bowl of the MAP. (I start with the liquid). Then start the 1h30 program.
3/ Take the dough out and crush it with a rolling pin to a thickness of 1 cm.
4/ Make circles about 5 cm in diameter in the dough, place either nutella, compote or jam in the centre of the circles. Be careful, you need circles of dough to close the doughnut, having taken care to pinch the edges with a little water, so that they don’t open up during frying. Leave them to rest, to puff up a little, but you’ll see they’ll puff up if there’s no trouble frying them!
5/ Heat some oil or use a deep fryer, when the oil is hot, dip the doughnuts 3 by 3. Make sure they are not too brown!
6/ Sprinkle them with powdered sugar..
