Ingredients for 6 persons :
220 g flour,
6 egg yolks
6 egg whites,
200 g butter,
190 g sugar,
1 sachet baking powder,
20 g unsweetened cocoa,
salt,
Preparation:
Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Butter a cake tin. Sift the flour.
Put the egg whites and a pinch of salt in the bowl of your thermomix.
Insert the whisk and programme on speed 4 for 4 minutes. Set the egg whites aside in a bowl.
Remove the whisk and place the butter in the bowl without washing it.
Program on speed 4 for 3 minutes.
Add the sugar and programme on speed 3 for 3 minutes.
Then set to speed 3 for 2 minutes, adding the egg yolks one by one and the unsweetened cocoa through the hole in the lid.
Pour the contents of the bowl into the mixing bowl over the egg whites and mix well with a spatula.
Add the flour and baking powder to the bowl and mix with a spatula.
Pour the final mixture into the tin.
Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C.
Once cooked, leave to cool before removing from the tin.
Serve your Chocolate Sponge Cake and enjoy.
