- 1 egg
- 250 g flour

- 9 cl milk
- 30 g melted butter
- 30 g sugar
- 1 tsp dry baker’s yeast or 12g fresh baker’s yeast
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or liquid vanilla
- 1 level teaspoon of salt or fine salt
- Toppings of your choice
- Jam
- Nutella Nutella
- maple syrup
- Honey

Gently heat the milk (so that it is lukewarm) and dilute the yeast with a pinch of sugar.
Mix the flour, melted butter, sugar and egg in a bowl and knead the dough.

Oil a bowl and put the dough inside, Let it rise in a warm, place.
Leave to rise for a good hour.
It should double in size.

De-air the dough on a floured work surface and roll out the dough to a thickness of 3 cm.
Shape into 6 doughnuts and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Leave to rise again for 30 minutes.
Bake for 10 minutes at 180°C.
Leave to cool and fill with the filling.
