Add the liquid caramel to the ramekin or container in which you are going to make your Neapolitan flan; you can also opt for small individual ramekins. Make sure the bottom is well covered, stirring the pan on both sides, and leave to cool.
The next step is to beat or liquefy all the ingredients: condensed milk, milk powder, eggs, cream cheese and vanilla extract. Make sure you get a smooth, lump-free mixture.
Finally, you should pour the liquid mixture into the ramekin or container with caramel in the bottom, cover it with aluminium foil and put the ramekin in a water bath in the oven for about 45 minutes. You can also choose to prepare your Neapolitan flan in a pressure cooker, so that you only need 10 minutes.
