3 Tbsp olive oil
2 lb smoked sausage
1 medium onion chopped
3 cloves minced garlic
2 cups chicken broth
1 12 oz can diced tomatoes
½ cup heavy cream
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup bow tie pasta(whole wheat)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Slice smoked sausage into bite sized pieces then add olive oil to pan and sauté onions with sausage.
Stir in garlic.
Add chicken broth with diced tomatoes then cream, and pepper.
Stir till mixed well.
Make sure that all the pasta is stirred into the sauce and covered with liquid well
Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Stir until melted.
Serve with sour cream if desired or as taste
