Vanilla Crescent Cookies


35 g sugar
1 vanilla pod
120 g butter
140 g flour
60 g almond powder
½ teaspoon liquid vanilla
Finishing touch
50 g icing sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar


Blend the sugar and the bean, split in two and cut into pieces (the seeds and bean are blended) to obtain a very vanilla-like sugar. Strain the sugar obtained through a sieve.
Mix with the butter.
Then add the flour, almond powder and liquid vanilla.
Mix to obtain a homogeneous ball of dough.
Divide the dough into 4 pieces, flour the work surface, and roll out the dough into 4 regular balls and cut them into lozenges or crescents.
Place them on a baking dish with baking sheetx
Bake for 15 minutes ,in a preheated oven at( 170 C )
Allow to cool completely before dipping in icing sugar/vanilla sugar mixture.
